I asked my students if they would write a few words about their experiences and tell me what their favourite moves were, here's what they had to say...

 

 

"I first started at POLE CONTROL in August 2009 and I have never looked back! Not only is it such a great way to keep fit and strong, it's really enjoyable! I love learning new moves and you feel a great sense of accomplishment once you perfect a move for the first time. My favourite moves are the Cross Knee Release and the Elbow Grip Ayesha because I think they look great and one of my favourite spins is the Hollywood. My least favourite move is the Chair."

If anyone was thinking of taking up pole fitness just for a laugh, to learn, or to lose weight then go for it!

It's great fun and rewarding too! Our favourite moves are Butterfly and Carousel, and our least favourite moves are Marley and Superman."

"We are both mums, aged 45 and 39. We've been taking lessons for quite a while now and every week we learn something new and exciting! We always have a real laugh at our lessons, and we're doing tricks now that we never in a million years thought we would able to achieve.

"I've been taking lessons for about 7 years and I absolutely love it! It's an amazing way to keep fit as it's so much fun you hardly realise you're exercising! I even have my own pole at home to practice between lessons.

Helen is a fab teacher and is always there supporting her students every step of the way and I hope that one day I can be as amazing as she is! My favourite moves are the Yogini & Elbow Grip Ayesha, my least favourite moves are the Flying Ballerina & the Allegra (closed variation)."
